Canine Hoopers is a dog sport where the handler navigates the dog through an obstacle course which can contain Hoops, Barrels, Tunnels and Mats without ever touching the dog or the equipment. .

The sport was first introduced to the UK in 2017 by Canine Hoopers UK growing into one of the most popular canine sports in the country today.

Hoopers consists of only low-impact equipment making it a great activity for everyone and every dog! From Chihuahua's to Great Dane's. Any dog can join in!

Some people start Hoopers to compete at licenced competitions around the UK but for others, it's just a fun way to create mental and physical stimulation for their dog. But be warned it can be a very addictive hobby!

You will find lots of Hoopers clubs and trainers around the country but before you get involved the most important thing to consider before you start is to make sure that only force-free modern training techniques are used.
